Privacy policy

The short version

TI84PlusCalculator.com runs entirely in your browser. There is no account, no login and no server that receives your calculations. We do not sell data, and we collect nothing that identifies you — the only measurement is an anonymous, cookieless count of page views.

What is stored on your device

The calculator saves your work so a refresh doesn’t lose it. This uses your browser’s local storage and never leaves your device:

• ti84_theme — light or dark appearance.
• ti84_state_v1 — calculation history, Y= equations, window settings, stat lists and mode settings for the main calculator.
• ti84_state_v1_prefs — calculator colour, screen style, key-click sound and layout choice.
• ti84_embed_v1, ti83_state_v1 and similar keys — the same information for the embedded and beta calculators.

Clearing your browser data removes all of it. Inside the calculator, pressing 2nd + + → 7:Reset → 1:All RAM → 2:Reset wipes the saved work too.

What we do not collect

• No accounts, and nothing that identifies you while you use the calculator. The one exception is the contact form, described below — and only if you choose to use it.
• No calculations, equations or datasets — they are processed in your browser only.
• No advertising network, and no analytics cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies, without fingerprinting and without building a profile of you, so there is nothing to consent to and nothing that follows you to other sites.

The contact form

If you send a message from the contact page, the name, email address and message you type are sent to us by email so that we can read and reply to them. That is the only information the form sends, it is used for nothing else, and it is not added to any mailing list or passed to anyone.

The message is delivered through our hosting provider’s email routing rather than a third-party form service, so it does not pass through another company on the way. Nothing you type into the form is saved on this website.

Fonts and hosting

Fonts are served from this site rather than a third-party font service. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, requested page) for security and uptime; those are ordinary web server records, not linked to you by us.

Children and schools

Because the site collects no personal information, it can be used by pupils without accounts or consent flows. Schools can link to it or embed it without sending us any student data. We are not a school official or service provider holding education records. If your district requires a signed agreement before using any website, please treat this page as a description of practice rather than a contract, and get in touch.
